Who we are
Hi, my name is Rachel Fox, I’m a retired US Marine and the owner and operator of Fortitude Drone Works.
Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to help people. Over the years, I’ve found some pretty amazing ways to help people throughout my career. Whether it was joining the Marine Corps, working for the UK as a Stabilisation / Humanitarian Advisor or volunteering on disaster response operations around the world to support communities on their worst days.
And this is my story…
I first got involved with drones back in 2017 while volunteering with Team Rubicon UK, a veteran-led disaster response and humanitarian organization. We used drones to provide response personnel and local government leadership with real-time aerial damage assessments of impacted communities. Our drone footage helped direct teams and resources to where they were needed most. I was so inspired by the value drones were able to bring to our response efforts that I ended up purchasing my first drone so I could join our team of pilots. (See footage of my very first flight below!)
Today, through Fortitude Drone Works, I’m able to help businesses and individuals tell their stories, showcase their work, and solve practical problems. Whether it’s making a real estate listing pop, promoting a commercial space, or enabling a construction company to keep their project on schedule and on budget - I can help capture the places, progress, and moments that matter. Even if a neighbor needs a little thermal aerial support to find their lost pet - I’m here to help!
